Hardscape Foreman

Full Time • Walker, LA
The Grounds Guys of Baton Rouge is looking for highly motivated individuals who are interested in the Landscape Construction field. We are a Design/Build and Maintenance company looking to outfit a new Hardscape crew. Our installs will be primarily hardscape supplemented by softscape. 

Requirements:


  • Foreman: 3-5 years minimum of Hardscape experience.  Duties would include building Outdoor Kitchens, Water features, Fireplaces, Fire Pits, Patios, Retaining Walls, Walkways, Driveways, etc…
  • Capable of reading and installing via hardscape designs and plans. 
  • Self Starter
  • Valid LA Drivers License Required
  • Must be proficient with Hardscape tools, equipment, and building skills.
  • Masonry skills a plus
  • Good communication skills 
  • Able to lead a crew of 3 or more
  • Mode of transportation to and from the shop is required.
  • Able to run a project from start to finish Including limited management for subcontractors. 

Compensation:

  • Starting wage of $18 - $22 per hour depending on experience
  • Paid comprehensive training program
  • Company paid ICPI & NCMA training classes with Hands On training.
*All potential employees must have a clean driver’s license and be drug free
